Gracienne Myers, a Brazilian native came to the United States in 1998. Entrepreneurial in mind and action, Gracienne created her boutique because she saw the need for fashionable yet comfortable shoes and unique accessories. Her line of shoes creatively combines the high fashion looks of the runways with the comfort desired by all women.

Gracienne founded the company with customer satisfaction as the number-one priority, using not only the looks of high fashion but also customer feedback as the basis of her designs. She plans to carry her philosophy, along with the store's fashionable, comfortable product line, to future boutiques in New York City and Brazil.

Gracienne ™, which is located in downtown State College, Pennsylvania, has been open for business since July of 2005. Walking into the store begins the experience Gracienne worked so hard to create. From the leather sofa and glass arm chairs to the cow hide rugs and flat screen TV, not only the women who shop there, but also the men in tow love Gracienne’s™ atmosphere. A variety of beverages are served to patrons ranging from hot espresso to chilled wine. Clients try on shoes and accessories with glass in hand while speaking to knowledgeable sales staff.
